PADI Divemaster course

During your PADI Divemaster course at Dive Division, you will work closely with your PADI Instructor and fine-tune your dive skills. At Dive Division you have a great chance to work with several PADI Instructors and PADI Divemasters, which makes it a broad and complete experience in which you will gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities. As a PADI Divemaster, you will lead others as you supervise scuba diving activities and assist with diver training. Please feel free to contact us also about an optional Divemaster internship to gain even more experience.

General information of the PADI Divemaster Course

During the PADI Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills through independent study and some classroom sessions. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems as well as help others improve their scuba diving.

You put this knowledge into action through a series of practical training exercises. As you progress through your Divemaster course, you will expand your diving knowledge, get better in your skills and increase your confidence. When you become a PADI Divemaster, you will use what you have learned to lead, mentor, and motivate other divers and experience the joy of seeing them underwater.

As a PADI Divemaster in training (DMT), you want to make sure that you get off to the best start with your diving career and we have dedicated staff to take you on this amazing journey.

PADI Instructor Development Program

Teaching scuba diving allows you to share your passion and love for the water, changing the lives of people for the first time and allows you to live in exotic locations. Follow the Instructor Development Course (IDC) with our in-house Course Director, Mick Bosman and highly trained IDC Staff Instructors.

General information of the PADI Divemaster Course

The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is made out of two parts – the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. Most dive professionals complete the entire IDC. Next to that, you will also do the Emergency First Response Instructor course.

The New Revised PADI IDC Course has an even better focus on real-life teaching. After your meticulous preparation with the Digital eLearning, you did most of the presentations. Thus, the course spends most of the time focusing on real-life teaching on the basis of workshops. Learn how to give Knowledge development teaching presentations, Confined water presentations, Open water presentations. Fine-tune your demonstrations of the skills. Revise your Dive Theory and get familiar with the PADI Standards & Procedures.

After successfully completing the IDC, you can enroll in the 2-day Instructor Examination (IE) and earn your PADI Instructor rating.
